Our decoration competition winner

The winner is:

  • Theresa Sterbis (USA) for a photo of the horse and fence she and her husband made for her Fame, Mystery and Murder party
  • .

We are commencing a new competition with a closing date of 1 December 2005 (see decor.htm for details).

Theresa sent in this feedback:

"I thought you might like to see this year's photos from "Fame, Money and Murder." It was a roaring success a few weeks back. Guests particularly liked the life-sized horse and fencing that my husband and I made for the back yard. It was also quite amusing that our jockey, Tommy Whip, was the tallest guy there at 6'4" tall! :-)

Thanks for the entertaining story line.

Norman sent in this feedback:

"Our annual St Paddys bash was a huge hit. This year we used your Luck Of The Irish mystery which I purchased for the event. We had over 30 participants and as you can see from the photos we used a suspect board and some additional "challenges" to make them earn clues.... We even created the "crime scene" in our front yard! As you can see they all got into the "dress for your part" instructions!!

Regards,
Norman Sterling"

Lee Ellen sent in this feedback:

""We hosted "One of the Girls" for a 16 year olds birthday party. The girls had a blast. They were so busy talking that they forgot to listen to the clues. ha ha They did not solve the crime but they had a ton of fun.

This party was so easy to give, the guests just start talking and it all works out great.

I loved how you gave us all the ideas for food and decorations. We used the lockers as a decoration and I hung old black and white pictures of the girls that I had taken at their school and hung them around the room to make it look like a school reunion. We used the birthday girls favorite colors for our school colors.

We used a friend of the girls who was unable to come because she had to work as the one who was killed. We put her picture in a frame and showed it to the girls at the reading of the Will. The girls all laughed when they saw who Helen was. It was great! When "Helen" showed up after the party they all had fun telling her how they had killed her. ha ha

I would recommend this party to anyone who has a group of girls. It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to doing another one."
