Winner of our first photo competition...Carol George (USA) is the winner of our first photo competition. She will receive the mystery dinner party kit of her choice. She sent in this photo of Gunnie and Abdulla from her One Of The Girls party. She also sent in this feedback: "I wrote to you a while back and ordered the murder mystery for a reunion of 12 women who grew up in a red light district. We had a blast! Everyone really got into their roles. Costuming was wonderful. My florist made a tacky arrangement with red carnations, a red light bulb, and fishnet hose for the centerpiece. We spraypainted lightbulbs with red and glitter for each person's placecards." She also sent a photo of her group relaxing the next day together (see the photo below). Aren’t the matching dressing-gowns cute!! Send us your photos for the next competition. The winner will be announced in the next newsletter in October. See the competition details. |

Feedback on our new mystery|Michael Palumbo, M.D. had "Trouble on Board" written for a 7 day Mediterranean cruise with his friends and he sent two emails - one in the middle of his trip and one after he got back. The characters in this mystery were based on the actual people on the cruise, but the names have been changed in the mystery we have for sale.In the middle of the cruise he sent this feedback: "I am in St. Tropez and came upon an "internet cafe" so I though I would stop in to drop you a line. The murder mystery is going great! We are now on our 5th day of it. The boat crew has been happy to be involved where necessary and are quite amused by it. The guests have all really gotten into it. The ultimate compliment to your writing has been that certain events have been so true to the characters involved that some spectators can't distinguish between the script and real conversation. During the first scene we had to repeatedly tell Clive that Jim was acting. He actually was responding to Jim scripted lines with annoyance and delivering, unwittingly, other lines in the script! When the crew brought in a cell phone, supposedly with a call for Jim, Clive blew up and screamed: " Don't even start with all these phone calls Jim...." Everyone has been rolling on the floor with laughter. They are all quite mystified as to who is going to die... It really has been an asset to an already pretty great experience. Thanks again, I'll keep you posted!"

![]() A photo of the luxury cruiser And after it was over, he sent this feedback: "I got back from the vacation last night and I wanted to let you know that the rest of the mystery went very well. One person did correctly identify XXX as the murderer. Ultimately everyone loved it and thought it was a highlight of their trip. Considering all of the other wonderful experiences we shared cruising around the Riviera on a yacht, that is no small compliment! We were speaking about it so enthusiastically to another friend when we all got to Italy that he has asked me for your website because he wants to try it too!"
